Grorud offer subcontract electrophoretic painting and powder coating. After processing, assembly and packing operations can be carried out if required. The aim of the service is to provide total component processing to reduce both logistics and in-house costs for our customers.

The electrophoretic paint process was developed for the automotive industry to combat the weakening effects of corrosion inside structural box sections. Whilst the dip process used ensures all internal and external surfaces are fully covered, the addition of electrostatic paint attraction ensures that the paint thickness is uniform across the entire surface, including the edges.

Our powder paint plant allows us to offer a huge variety of colours and finishes, all applied on top of a corrosion resistant pre-treatment process. Our flexible plant provides both fully automated and manual spray booths allowing paint application to virtually all components regardless of their size or complexity.
